Gladys Richter

Gladys Marie (Cable) Richter, 63, passed away on Aug. 24, 2016, due to complications.

She was born in Perryton, Texas, on Dec. 1, 1952, to Clyde Brown and Mary Frances (Seay) Cable. She graduated from Riverton High School in 1972. She moved to Thermopolis a little while after, where she met and married Robert (Bob) Richter on Dec. 19, 1977.

Gladys was able to travel due to Bob being in the Army. There were two trips to Germany and a few times to Texas. After Bob got out of the Army they moved to Cheyenne, Wyo., and then to Thermopolis where she resided since 1991.

Gladys is survived by her sons, Gene Cable and Robby Richter, both of Thermopolis; daughters, Misty (Anna) Smith of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kristina (Randy) Wallace of Thermopolis; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; 18 nieces and nephews; brothers, Doug Earhart of Shoshone, Idaho, Dusty, Sandy and Howard (Carla) Cable, all of Thermopolis; sisters, Nelda Cable of Althus, Okla., and Hope Cable and Martha Katzenberger of Thermopolis.

She is preceded in death by her late husband, Bob Richter; parents, Clyde Cable and Mary Frances Earhart; step-father, Duard Earhart; father-in-law Robert Richter and a few other family members.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
