Curley running for committeeman

Republican Charles Curley is running alongside committeewoman candidate Toni Casciato for Hot Springs County Precinct 2.

Curley's platforms include grass roots control, training, attendance and delivery.

Curley said the Republican Party needs the grass roots far more than the grass roots need the Republican Party.

He also said a major problem for volunteer organizations is turnover, the best response being to train new people as they come in and move them up in the organization. As for attendance, Curley said he shows up. He has been a regular at State Central Committee meetings since elected.

He also attended multiple meetings and county conventions in all four counties in the district as District Representative. He has also shown up routinely at Hot Springs County Central Committee meetings and events even before he was elected to office.

With delivery, Curley said he under-promises and over delivers.

Curley has been in involved in the Hot Springs County Republican Party for almost a decade. He has been chairman for the party, state committeeman and secretary of the Wyoming Republican Party. He said he has experience on behalf of the grass roots.

"I've helped bring some resolutions to both county and state on regulations, mostly in economic areas," he said. "I have a track record. I do what I say I'm going to do. I also push for openness, as far as public transparency."

Curley said he will support Nathan Winters for House District 28, and will do what he can to support him in his effort to win the race in November.
