Sophomore Jared Little won with pencil works "The Eyes of the Storyteller," Tony" and "Headstrong," and mixed media piece "King of the Jungle."
Thermopolis high school students worked hard all year long and were excited and proud to participate in the 48th Wyoming High School Art Symposium.
Art Symposium was held in April at the Event Center in Casper. An estimated 5,000 pieces of student artwork from Wyoming high schools were displayed. During the event, a round of judges recognize outstanding student artwork and gives those chosen students blue ribbons. It is quite an honor to be recognized at an event with so many fantastic works of art.
Thermopolis art students did a wonderful job representing Thermopolis and brought home seven blue ribbons. Teacher Jennifer Emery expressed congratulations to Jared Little, Stormy Cox, and Domanic Jensen for their achievements.
