Nothing was more important to her. And as a result she became adept at genealogy and has connected with many distant relatives in that endeavor.

She loved music, art and literature and was generous in sharing with friends and family alike. There were many parties - dancing and storytelling late into the night - and Neecy played gracious hostess, best friend and penultimate stewardess (best aunt in the world).

She is survived by her brother, Laird A. (Julie) Pisto of Gig Harbor, Wash .; niece, Kirsten M. Pisto of Seattle, Wash .; nephew, Anthony B. Pisto of Chehalis, Wash .; aunt, Eloise Shaw of Worland, Wyo .; numerous cousins, as well as Julie's entire extended family; and house cat, Kit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert R. Pisto and Margaret L. Pisto; and Duncan, Channi, Idaho, and a host of other felines.

Her ashes will be interred next to her parents at Monument Hill Cemetery. Services in Wyoming will take place later this spring.
