Big game banquet March 26

The 12th annual Big Game Banquet and Auction will be Saturday, March 26 at the Hot Springs County Fair Building. The event is sponsored by the Big Horn Basin Chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF).

A social hour featuring games and raffles begins at 5 p.m. The silent auction will begin at that time also. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. with a live auction following. Gary Nash will donate his auction services.

An item guaranteed to cause a lot of excitement will be a Wyoming Governor’s Hunting License which will be auctioned off. Buyer will choose from elk, deer and antelope. License will be valid for any Wyoming hunt area in accordance with Game and Fish Commission regulations.

Tickets are on sale now for a raffle with the prize of a Traeger Grill. Only 300 tickets will be sold, and you need not be present to win.

The local RMEF chapter is bringing back a major prize, which includes tickets for two to five nights of PBR (Professional Bull Riding) action Nov. 2-6 in Las Vegas, Nev.

Tickets are $70 per person or $105 per couple. Included is a smoked prime rib and chicken buffet dinner and a one-year RMEF membership. Kids meals for ages 4-10 will be available for $15.
