Edward Parish

Edward Lewis Parish, 78, died Sunday, March 6, 2016, at his residence in Thermopolis following a period of failing health.

Born Sept. 19, 1937, in Las Cruces, N.M., he was the son of Earl and Marilyn (Taylor) Harmon. In the 1950's he married Elizabeth Garmeson. The couple later divorced.

Most of his life he was employed as an electrical technician for the Burroughs Corporation in California. After retirement, he moved to Wyoming in 1983 and started a second career as a cowboy. In the late 1980's he worked on Owl Creek for Stan Pennoyer.

Ed's interests included computers, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Scott Parish of Riverton, Wyo., Todd Parish of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Lauri Smith of Philadelphia, Pa .; brother, Bill Parish of Sacramento, Calif .; and two grandchildren, Shannon and Amanda.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Zachary.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date.
