Thelma Bryant

Thelma Margaret Bryant, 86, of Flagstaff, Ariz. (formerly of Thermopolis) passed away peacefully on the evening of December 27, 2015, after a lengthy illness.

Thelma was born November 13, 1929, in Crosby, Wyo., to Frank A. Cabre and Maggie Barham Cabre. Her siblings include Henry Cabre, Lucy Cabre Nichols, Lloyd Cabre and half brother Al Cunningham.

Thelma married Christopher Cleveland (Steve) Hall in August 1944. Two children were born to this union, Cheryl Hall Kennedy Pitts and Mark Hall.

Thelma went on to marry the love of her life Ben Bryant, Jr. in Rock Springs, Wyo., in 1952. They had a daughter Pamela Bryant Enis. Thelma and Ben later adopted their two granddaughters, Kara and Kim, after the passing of their mother, Cheryl.

Thelma lived the majority of her life in Thermopolis, Wyo. She had moved to Flagstaff on June 19, 2015, to live out her life with her son, Mark and daughter-in-law, Barbara.

Beside her husband and children, her greatest love was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and her church family at Risen Son Baptist Church in Thermopolis. She enjoyed many years of being a Sunday school teacher and volunteering at Messiah's Mall when her health allowed. Thelma's favorite bible verses were ll Corinthians 12:9, John 5:24 and ll Corinthians 4:16-18. Summing up her life comes down to 3 words: "Jesus is Lord!"

Thelma is survived by her son Mark (Barbara) Hall of Flagstaff, Ariz.; daughters Pamela (Gary) Enis of Benson, Ariz., and Kara (Scott) Jordan of Cumming, Ga.; and many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two daughters; two grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; and her parents.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time. A celebration of her life will be held in July 2016 in Thermopolis, Wyo., at Risen Son Baptist Church (time and day to be announced).

In lieu of flowers, Thelma's wish was for donations to be made to Risen Son Baptist Church, 342 Amoretti, Thermopolis, WY 82443.
