Carolyn Conner recognized as WASEA director of the year

This year the Wyoming Association of Special Education Administrators has recognized Carolyn Conner as director of the year for 2014-2015 for the state of Wyoming. She was honored at the fall conference in Casper.

The Board of Special Education, made up of directors from every school district in Wyoming, voted for Conner unanimously. It was her dedication, service and proving to be a valuable asset to the board that influenced the voting. Conner has been the treasurer of the board for over eight years now. She is the first institutional director to receive the award.

"I am so honored. From the types of recipients over the last years, it's amazing," Conner said about receiving the award.

Conner has been the administrative director at the North West Wyoming Board of Cooperative Educational Services since 2001. Before that she was the school social worker. She has been at the school for 31 years.
