Jamye SoRelle

February 10, 1957 - April 13, 2015

Jamye Don SoRelle, 58, died Monday, April 13, 2015, in Worland, Wyo.

Born February 10, 1957, in Denver, Colo., he was the middle child of nine children born to Nelson Layton and Mary Hess Spence SoRelle. At the young age of six Jamye had a paper route.

For most of his adult life he was an oil field worker for many companies in the west.

Jamye's home was his palace and as long as his property was well attended, he was content.  He lived a simple life; he loved his family, God and fishing. With a big and loving heart, he shared whatever he had with those he loved and those in need.

Jamye was a member of Risen Son Baptist Church.

On July 11, 1998, he married Jeanette Verlee Hill in Beaver Creek, Colo.

He is survived by his eight children, Nelson Layton SoRelle II of Kingman, Ariz., Kelly Jo (Chris) Sharpensteen of Surprise, Ariz., Tony SoRelle of Worland, Cynthia Adams of Wisconsin, Katie Snyder of Thermopolis, Kris (Andrena) Snyder of Thermopolis, Mathew Snyder of Longmont, Colo., and Elizabeth Haire of Worland; siblings, Layton Brasfield, Jack SoRelle, Nena Gallagher, Emma Littlefield, Pat Eulberg, and Beau, David and John SoRelle; and  nine grandchildren, Carly, Christa, Jazmyn, Kriston, Lili, Annabel, Quanaleah, Quincy and Cassandra.

He is preceded in death by his wife in March of 2014.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at Mortimore Funeral Home, with Pastor Brian Johnson, of the Risen Son Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Thermopolis.
