    Tuesday night at the Thermopolis Town Council meeting, with Mayor Mike Mortimore absent, the council approved the third and final reading of an ordinance increasing sewer and solid waste collection rates for users with and customers of the Town of Thermopolis by revoking Ordinance 826, Resolution 500 and Resolution 493.     An incident at a business last Saturday has led to the charges of aggravated assault and battery and reckless endangering against Jeffrey L. Schroeder. According to the charges, on the date of the incident Schroeder allegedly pulled a gun and aimed it at another subject. Verdell was born July 26, 1936, in Backoo, N.D., to Norval and Violet (Schroeder) Quam. She grew up on the family farm and finished high school in Cavalier, N.D. On November 23, 1954, she and Edgar A. Stegman were united in marriage.
