The Hot Springs County Commissioners made a choice for funding of the proposed new enhanced 9-1-1 system at their meeting on Tuesday afternoon. After going through the offers from various local banks as well as Motorola, the company creating the system, the commissioners determined they would take the funding offer through Big Horn Federal which carried the lowest interest rate for the 10-year term. The Hot Springs County Senior Center will have a Driver Safety course on Wednesday, May 23 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The course, intended for senior citizens, is provided through the AARP with volunteer Barbara Gast instructing. Marial Flynn Eckhardt, 82, passed away Sunday, May 13, 2018, at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper. Born November 13, 1935, in Hebron, Neb., she was the daughter of Frank and Evelyn (Keith) Flynn.
