Four named to cross county All-Conference

Bobcat Cross County attended the 5 Rivers 2A West Conference in Ethete last Friday with the girls team bringing home 2nd place honors and the boys team coming in 3rd.

Four Bobcats, Jayda Griffin, Sadie Martinez, Jadeth Elder and Cole Keller, were named to the All-Conference team.

Individual results for the girls are: Jayda Griffin, 23:28.08, 5th; Sadie Martinez 23:47.74, 9th; Ava Dafoe, 26:26.29; Camille Rodriguez, 35:16.78.

The Lady Cats scored 38 points putting then second place behind Wyoming Indian with 14 points. Third place was Lovell with 47 points fourth was Rocky Mountain with 68 points.

For the boys, individual results are: Jadeth Elder, 5th, 18:38.48; Cole Keller, 19:06.10, 6th; Jesse Rodriguez, 19:54.19; Teancum Gevas, 20:16.08; Seth Needham, 20:37.97; Alec Martinez, 22:12.08; Michael Stevens, 22:31.64.

The Bobcats scored 45 points putting them in third place behind first place Burlington with 24 points and second place Wyoming Indian with 27 points. Fourth place was Lovell with 60 points, fifth was Wind River with 108 points and sixth was Rocky Mountain with 117 points.

The team will travel to Cheyenne this Saturday, October 21 to compete in the state
