OEB Saloon open for business

One Eyed Buffalo Saloon recently opened after a major renovation and redesign.

The saloon is following along the brand and style of the One Eyed Buffalo Brewery/Restaurant on Broadway.

Co-owner Jennifer Fisher said, "We're trying to work with Mac's Bar to get a pool league going and we are trying to get a dart league going with Mac's Bar, Thermopolis Liquor and us. So, that's a couple of new things coming up. We get a lot of pool players coming in every night."

The saloon is open at noon every day. Fisher said, "As far as staying open at night we stay as long as we have customers, and obviously, we can't stay open past 2 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Sundays. If it's been very slow for a couple of hours, we will close."

Fisher revealed her plans for the end of the football season. She said, "We are having a Super Bowl party coming up where we are thinking about a potluck, with food and we're watching the game on TV."

The interior is almost complete with the exception of the kitchen. Fisher said, "As soon as we are done on the outside, we are going to be doing work on the kitchen. The outside is coming to completion, too. We are working on the lights and the trim.

The interior resembles a lot of One Eyed Buffalo with tin and television monitors, antiqued textured walls. Fisher said, "The liquor store is really nice, higher end."

Regarding music performances, the saloon recently had Eric Kay come in and play. For the night of February 6, they will have a musician called Jukebox Hero here from Casper.
