Kay to coach TMS volleyball

The Thermopolis Middle School volleyball program has a new head coach this season, Aimee Kay. She will be assisted by Desi Rangel.

Kay said there are 20 girls out for the seventh grade team and 13 out for eighth grade.

The teams will be having their first games of the year this Thursday when they travel to Worland to take on the Lady Warriors.

“I am excited to be back in as a coach for volleyball,” Kay said. “I anticipate that these girls will move along nicely.

“I have the eighth graders running a 6-2 so it will take a bit of time for them to get used to it, but I believe it will prepare them for a smooth start to high school level volleyball.”

Games in Worland will start at 5:30 p.m. with eighth A/B followed by seventh A/B.
