On the Record policy

Wednesday, December 14

2:42 p.m. A search warrant was requested on a property north of town. Karl Burt David Loos was arrested for a probation hold.

4:12 p.m. Report of a hit and run accident in Kirby. There was no information on any damages or suspect vehicles.

Thursday, December 15

3:51 p.m. Agency assist with Department of Family Services (DFS).

Friday, December 16

3:02 p.m. Call received regarding a male subject walking on Sand Draw who did not appear dressed for the weather. The area was checked, and no subject matching the description was found.

5:12 p.m. Agency assist with DFS.

Monday, December 19

6:47 p.m. Female subject reported being threatened by a juvenile and two adults. The incident is under investigation.

Police department

Tuesday, December 13

4:53 p.m. Two-vehicle accident in a parking lot, in which one vehicle backed into another.

5:25 p.m. After an accident in which one vehicle backing out of a parking spot hit another vehicle, Robert Hunter was arrested for alleged driving under the influence.

Thursday, December 15

7:38 a.m. Minor two-vehicle accident near Sixth and Arapahoe. A state accident report was filed.

11:42 a.m. Kenneth Pulver was arrested for alleged driving under the influence after a citizen report. An investigation indicated he was in physical control of a vehicle.

1:23 p.m. Report of a lost pair of glasses, square with a large brown frame.

5:01 p.m. Complainant believes an unknown subject is climbing over her fence.

Saturday, December 17

11:57 a.m. Report of a dog out and barking. Contact was made with someone at the house, who agreed to bring the dog inside and make the homeowner aware of the complaint.

1:30 p.m. Officer responded to a family fight between a father and son. The son, Nesho Skretteberg, was arrested for public intoxication.

1:57 p.m. Complainant reported vehicles blocking an alley. Responding officer did not locate any such vehicles.

Sunday, December 18

6:02 a.m. Female subject living in an apartment with no heat was unsure of who to call to fix the situation. The subject was able to contact the landlord.

9:46 a.m. A subject called in reference to a relative who didn’t sound right over the phone. An officer eventually located the relative at the Emergency Room.

11:54 a.m. Report of a dog missing from Owl Creek Hill.

Monday, December 19

11:34 a.m. Report of a two-vehicle accident in a parking lot. The incident is under investigation.

12:56 p.m. Report of a small gray kitten that looked malnourished. The animal could not be located.

2:55 p.m. Report of a German Shepherd walking that appeared somewhat frozen. The caller could not capture the animal, and it could not be located by an officer.

3:25 p.m. A vehicle ran into a support pole for an overhang at a business. A state report will be filed.

8:36 p.m. Two estranged subjects got into a dispute that resulted in violence. Joseph Watkins was arrested for alleged assault.

Circuit court

Tiphanie Goodman was found guilty of breach of peace, and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines ar $100.
