Pair starts metal business

Once the Holidays are over and the Christmas decorations come down, you may notice some new metal signs going up on the decorative light posts throughout town.

Those new signs are the creation of the newest business in town, Custom Metal Works, owned by John Dorman and Dale Andreen.

The pair can cut almost any metal up to three-quarter inches thick; mild steel, aluminum and stainless, into just about anything your imagination can come up with.

They can do customizable signs, like the one they did for A Cut Above, yard signs, archway signs for farms or ranches or smaller items like transmission brackets and trophies.

“We had some folks that were interested, so we decided to just do it,” Dorman said.

With Christmas coming, you might want to consider a custom fireplace screen or a firepit ring for summer fun outdoors.

All of their cutting is computer controlled, so they are able to do more intricate designs than those cut strictly by hand.

They are also registered to cut the Wyoming Bucking Horse.

For more information on Custom Metal Works, you may call Dorman at 921-9694.
