    USA Wrestling sign-ups are set for Dec. 13 and 15 at the armory from 5:30-8 p.m. The program is run completely by volunteers and provides wrestlers ages five and up an opportunity to compete and receive coaching. Registration is $60 and includes a t-shirt. There is an additional $50 equipment deposit which will be returned when the equipment is turned in at the end of the season.   • Speech tourney set for Saturday

    Ten schools are preparing to converge on Hot Springs County High School this Saturday for the annual Bobcat Invitational Speech Tournament. “I am very excited to see this many schools coming here,” coach Cindy Glasson said. “It’s a lot of work getting things ready, but so worth it for these kids.” While the Bobcats don’t actually participate in the tournament, they organize and run it, it is an excellent opportunity for them to see what goes into a tournament and gives them some insight into what they will be up against come January.     FFA members Ames Tschiffely, Dreama Thorpe and Kaitlyn Schmuck freshen up one of the trees that was purchased at the Tree Festival and donated to the Wyoming Pioneer Home. It has been a tradition that the FFA chapter spend the morning after the sale delivering the trees to the buyers. The trees are bagged and tagged then loaded into a horse trailer for free local delivery by the students....

    Raising more than $100,000 and assisting more than 350 families statewide are among goals of Energy Share of Wyoming, which kicked-off its 2016-17 season Thursday, Dec. 1. Energy Share funding is available to pay energy bills when all other resources and assistance have been exhausted.
