    The streets of Thermopolis have been a variety of detours this past couple months as the water line replacement project has gotten underway. Work began in Hot Springs State Park but was plagued with delays. According to Town Engineer Anthony Barnett things are a bit behind but they should hit the final completion date fairly close.     Monday in Hot Springs District Court, Hugo A. Luna pleaded not guilty — through an interpreter — to felony charges of first-degree attempted murder and kidnapping.     The political season in Wyoming is heating up with just a little under three weeks until the Primary Election, August 21. If you have discovered you aren’t going to be in town for the primary, your vote can still count if you do absentee early voting.     While watching an old rerun of a late 50’s TV show, I happened upon an old commercial about a soap product that was 99 & 44/100 percent pure. (I always wondered what that .56 percent impurity was and why if it could be measured. Why it couldn’t be removed to reach the totally pure mark?) Moore said the decision came from the board, though she had been serving as interim director since the resignation of Lisa Pierce earlier this year.
