    Amanda Moeller, Director of the Travel and Tourism Board, has resigned her position as of January 1, 2020. The board is currently seeking her replacement. Moeller started her role with the board in July 2013 as Tourism Director. She worked as a board contracted consultant through her company Cowgirl Consulting.     The Thermopolis Town Council were given reports of several nuisance issues by Town Animal Control Officer Ame Longwell at their Tuesday, Jan. 21 meeting.     Thermopolis Booster Club President Kelly Cole and Hot Springs County High School Activities Director Brandon Deromedi want to invite local parents of athletes to participate in their activities. Emergency Management Coordinator Bill Gordon expressed concern several months ago about the dangers the county could face should a large spread power outage occur on a nationwide basis.     Cole Christenson, Roedy Farrell, Logan Cole and Reily Shaffer brought home championships from the Don Runner Invitational wrestling tournament in Pavillion.     The Lady Bobcats had a successful weekend at home winning two out of three of their games during a tournament that included Shoshoni, Rocky Mountain and Wyoming Indian.     State Representative John Winter introduced a bill for consideration by the Wyoming Legislature that would allow for compensation to ranchers outside of game hunting zones due to loss or damage by gray wolves.
